Biography

Arlene L. Coyle, of Bronxville, passed on peacefully with her family by her side on January 22nd, 2012 after her courageous battle with ALS. Arlene, 69, was born in the Bronx, NY on August 12, 1942. She was a 32 year dedicated employee of Lawrence Hospital Center, Communications Department, also an active volunteer at Cabrini Nursing Home. Arlene was the devoted and loving wife of Michael Coyle, who she was proudly married to for 50 years. Loving mother of four children; Michael, Phillip, Christine and Michelle. Proud grandmother of eight. Adoring great-grandmother of four. Friends and family may call, at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, NY 10704, (914) 963-5263, on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Ann Parish, 854 Midland Ave., Yonkers, NY, 10704, (914) 965-1555 on Wednesday, January 25th at 9:30AM

I am glad that you are finally at peace and no longer in pain..You gave this awful disease a great fight..I will continue to spread awareness and fight to find a cure..I will think of you every second of everyday and remember the memories of your beauty and elegance. Mommabelle...what a beautiful soul you have, what a unique person you were and always will be to me. I hope you found comfort in my care, I hope you are free and out of pain & suffering. You fought a couragous battle. The way you touched my life cannot be explained, you are and always be be the one person in my life that has left such an impact. Dear Arlene, Thank you for being such a great sister in law to me always. I will always remember your kindness and warmth and all the fun times that Connie and I had together with you and Mike. Connie and I were happy to help out with everything during this past year and we will miss doing that. I hope you are at peace and out of pain.
