God blessed you with a long life yet I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing. I will always treasure the memories of growing up in Clason Point and being one of the many cousins to whom you gave haircuts on the summer days in your backyard. All my memories of you growing up bring a smile to my face. That trademark up to no good smile in so many of our family members definitely comes down from the Porteus line and it made you and my Papa such beloved characters. You will be missed but I know you are in great company now as some of our finest are among the stars. Eternal love. Eternal peace.

Dad, I will miss you so much the rest of my life. You gave me so much, you taught me so many things that I will always have and cherish.
