Saman Abukhader, (Abu Kamal) age 90, of Yonkers died Monday, August 18, 2014 surrounded by his family and friends. Saman was born May 22, 1924 in Salt, Jordan the son of the late Suleiman and Fareh Abukhader. He was predeceased by his wife Farideh Hanna Abukhader since 1967. Saman never remarried so he can raise his family and take care of his 9 loving children: Kamal, Kamel, Ayoub, Suleiman, Salameh, Evleen, Elain Abukhader, Yasmine Sayegh, and Laila Zurikat. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to everyone he touched. He was a warm loving family man always putting his family before him. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:15 at St. Mary's Church, 103 S. Broadway, Yonkers. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
