Giovannangela Pilla, age 89, of Yonkers died Monday, August 25, 2014. Giovannangela was born February 9, 1925 in Campania, Italy the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Mellilo) Mascia. Wife of the late Pierino Pilla. She is survived by two sons: Gerard (Maria) Pilla and Angelo (Geraldine) Pilla. Sister of Maria Denaro. Grandmother of Peter and Glenn Pilla; Great Grandmother of Christopher & Gregory. Friends may call on Wednesday from 7PM to 9PM and Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral mass will be Friday at 10:00 at Annunciation Church, 470 Westchester Ave, Yonkers. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx.
