Gerry Abbott, age 56, of Dumont died Saturday, September 20, 2014. Walter was born December 6, 1957 in Fort Huachuca, AZ the son of Walter Gerard and Margaret (Lent) Abbott. He was employed by Alex Auto Parts Inc, Bronx,NY as a Manager. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan (Comey) Abbott and devoted son Gerard Zachery Abbott. Dear brother of Katie Abbott and step brother of Ramona Ranere, Richie Smith, Ronnie Smith and the late Russell Smith. Loving uncle of Megan Faye. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Friday at 10:45 at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E. 241st Street, Bronx. Interment will be in St. Raymond Cemetery, Bronx.
