Rosso (Russ) Lupis, of Carmel, NY a longtime Yonkers resident, died peacefully on April 3, 2015 at the age of 86 with his loving family by his side. Russ served his country in the US Army from 1951 to 1953 and was also a retired carpenter from Local 279. Russ enjoyed traveling to many parts of the US and Italy. Russ was born in Yonkers to the late Joseph and Lucy Lupis. Beloved husband of the late Lucille. Cherished father of Russell Lupis ( Dan Carpenedo) and Valerie (Larry) Manno. Loving grandfather of Christina and Dominic Manno. Dear brother of Sue (Al) DeAngelis and Rose Stofko and the late Nicholas Lupis, Mary Kotoff, Josephine Gemma and Connie Skrobola. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Russ was loved by all. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers on Monday from 4 to 8PM. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10Am at Our Lady of Carmel Church, Yonkers. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. To express your condolences please visit www.sinatraffh.com.
