Marjorie "Midge" K. Massey died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, July 24th at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She was a lifelong Yonkers resident born May 14, 1928 to John Kelly and Marcella Skidd. She was predeceased by her husband, John Massey who she wed on November 26, 1949 at St. Joseph's Church in Yonkers. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mary Gatslick of Dennis, Massachusetts. She worked for many years at Traveller's insurance company and was a lifelong member of the St. John the Baptist Rosarian Society. She is survived by her son, Robert of Yonkers; her daughter, Patricia Cuoco and her spouse, Christopher of Hopewell Junction, NY; and her three grandchildren who she adored, Thomas John Massey, Mary Theresa Massey, and Michael Donald Massey. Her greatest joy in life was her family and grandchildren. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Aunt. Marjorie Massey will be waked on Sunday, July 26th at Sinatra Funeral Home on Yonkers Avenue from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be held on Monday, July 27th at 11am at St John The Baptist Church on Yonkers Avenue. She will be interred at St. Joseph's cemetery."
