Rose Leone died November 9 at Saint John's hospital in Yonkers. She was born June 2, 1932 in Yonkers to Joseph and Estra Guglielmi. Rose attended Sacred Heart Elementary School and Sacred Heart High School. After graduation she worked for the telephone company where she remained employed until her retirement in 1985. Rose married Louis Leone July 4, 1957 and was a devoted wife to Louie until his death in 2006. During their marriage Rose and Louie made many friends from their neighborhood, church and their senior citizens group. After Louie died Rose was very appreciative of the many friends and relatives who kept in touch with her. Although poor health prevented her traveling to see her friends their calls and visits were the highlights of her days. Rose is survived by her brother Mario Guglielmi and wife Josephine of Raleigh, N.C., cousin Mary Colaiacovo and husband Frank of Yonkers, aunt Yolanda Guglielmi of Yonkers, and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13 from 6-9pm at Sinatra Funeral Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Saturday at 10am at Saint Bartholomew's Church on Palmer Road in Yonkers. Intombment at Ferncliff Cemetary in Hartsdale will follow the mass.
