Ronald Edward Morgan, age 73, of Stony Point, NY, formerly of the Bronx passed away on November 21, 2015. Ronald was born September 30, 1942 in the Bronx, NY the son of the late William and Helen (Storer) Morgan. Ronnie was a retired second grade detective from the NYPD 46th Pct. and Rockland County Sheriff transport unit and former owner of Sherlock Investigations. Beloved husband of Rita J.(Bivona) Morgan. Devoted father of Elizabeth(Brian) Gravier. Cherish grandfather of Luke Morgan. Dear brother of James (Leslie) Morgan and Robert (Rosemary) Morgan. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews: Lauren, Karen (Craig) Blackstone, Edward Morgan, Rita Ann Bivona, Nicholas (Augustina) Bivona and Brett Bivona, his grand nieces and nephews Emily Catherine, Michael, Katlin, Carter, Anthony, Valentina and Theresa. Fond brother-in-law of Paula Bivona, Joseph(Theresa) Bivona, Lucy(Ronald) Mash and the late Vincent Bivona. Friends may call at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, 321 S. Main Street, New City on Monday from 3pm to 7pm. Funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in Brick Church Cemetery, Monsey. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockland County.
