Mary E. Silvestri (Cioppa), a lifetime resident died peacefully on April 29, 2016 at the age of 89. For many years, she was employed as a secretary for Stewart Stamping Co.. After retiring, Mary did volunteer work for Lawrence Hospital and the Wills Library in Yonkers. Cherished daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Cioppa. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Silvestri. Devoted mother of Peter (Gina) Pugielli of Morganville, NJ, Paul Pugielli of Bethlehem, PA, Alan (Maia) Pugielli of Brewster, NY and Mary (Rob) Wray of White Plains and the late Frank Pugielli of Yonkers, NY. Dear sister of Frank Cioppa, and the late Donnie and Dominick Cioppa. Also survived by six loving grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass at Mt. Carmel Church on Tuesday 10 AM followed by interment at St. Mary Cemetery.
