Evelyn Marie Mizzaro, age 78, died peacefully on September 20th, 2016 with her children by her side. Evelyn was born and raised in New York City by her parents Elizabeth and Joseph Caucci along with her three sisters, Josephine (Steiner), Ethel (Gallagher) and Dorothy (Kroll). In 1960, Evelyn married Victor Mizzaro and raise their three children in Jackson Heights, Queens. She wore many hats in her lifetime, beautician, accountant, chef, gardener, sports enthusiast, sister, daughter, wife, mom, but her main priority was ensuring the safety and health of her family and guiding them through the right path in life. She inspired everyone who knew her with her quiet demeanor, her humor, her strength and her compassion. Evelyn is predeceased by her husband, Victor. She is survived by her three devoted children - Victor Mizzaro (Connie, his wife), Elizabeth Kasulka (Thomas, her husband) and James Mizzaro - and three grandchildren - Victor, Stephanie, and Michelle. Funeral services will be held at the Little Church of St John and St Mary located at 15 St John's Place, Chappaqua NY 10514 on Saturday September 24th at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in her name.
