On September 20, 2016, Charles Luma, beloved husband, father, son and brother passed away. Charles was the loving husband and best friend to his wife Barbara of 54 years. He was the caring and dedicated father of his two sons, Daren and Jayson. Charles was the precious son of Elizabeth Luma and the late Nicholas Luma and the caring brother of Donna Bourassa, Janet Butelo and the late Arlene Newman. Charles was also the doting papa to nine beautiful grandchildren whom he adored. Charles cared deeply for all of his in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins and all his extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 23 from 3PM to 8PM at their home at 84 Raybrook Road in Yonkers. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Barnabas Roman Catholic Church on McLean Ave in Yonkers on Saturday, September 24th at 9:45AM, followed by an interment at Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Kidney Foundation and the American Heart Association are preferred.
