Obituary of Michael F. Dominelli

Michael Frank Dominelli, 93, died peacefully on, Sunday, November 27, 2016. Michael was born July 12, 1923 in Larchmont, New York, to Frank and Mary Dominelli. He married Mary Marconi on November 29, 1947, at St. Mary's Church, in Yonkers, New York.Michael was a WWII veteran of the United States Army. He was also a retired teamster shop steward with Local 456 for Trumid Construction, 42 years of service.Michael is survived by a large loving family including his wife, Mary, his 3 children, Michael Dominelli Jr and his fiancée Nancy, Frank Dominelli and his wife Camille, and Michelle Bohuniek and her husband Jay. His 8 grandchildren, Richard Dominelli, Michael Dominelli III, Nicole Cantalupo, Joanne Centrella, John Bohuniek, Vincent Dominelli, Melissa Bohuniek , and Christopher Bohuniek. His 5 great grandchildren, Danny Dominelli, Ariel Dominelli, Johnny Cantalupo, Angela Dominelli, and Dominick Cantalupo. And his 3 great great grandchildren, Dan and David Dominelli and Olin Andrade. Michael is also survived by his brother Frank and brother-in-law, Nick Marchioni. He was predeceased by his 6 sisters. He has many loving nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as an affectionate, supportive man, who only knew how to love 'with his whole heart'. A 'gentleman' in every sense of the word. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4PM to 8PM at the Hastings Funeral Home, Inc., 15 Spring Street, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 at St. Matthews Church, 616 Warburton Ave, Hastings-on-Hudson. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
