Bennie J. Gentile, a longtime Yonkers resident died peacefully on April 3, 2017 in Holiday, Fl. at the age of 89. For many years, Bennie worked as a truck driver for various constructions companies. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Beloved husband of Denise (Lierow) Gentile. Devoted father of Pat (Donald) Del Bene of Holmes, NY, Bonnie (Carlos) Padro of Hopewell Junction, NY and Jack (Sharon) Emanuel of Milford, CT. Dear brother of Marie Repicky of Spring Hill, Fl. Also survived by five loving grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Funeral service on Monday at 10 AM followed by interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
