Sophia Loizou, age 74, of Yonkers died Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Sophia was born January 3, 1943 in Cyprus, the daughter of the late Athanasis and Maria (Miltiadous) Athanasiou. She is survived by her beloved husband Michael N. Loizou, her two children and four grandchildren. Friends may call on Friday (TODAY) from 5PM to 9PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY. The funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 at Prophet Elias Greek Orthodox Church, 15 Leroy Ave, Yonkers. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson.
