Lidia Olga DiBerardino age 94 passed away June 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 4, 1923 in Corvara, Italy to the late Giacinto and Anna Tomassetti.

Lidia married Pietro DiBerardino in 1949. He predeceased her in July 2009. She lived in Yonkers for most of her life and was a Seamstress by trade. She was a fantastic dancer and also loved to sing. She would often break out in song at any given moment. She was a great cook and her old country Italian style meals were enjoyed by many. Playing and talking with children was one of her favorite pastimes.

She is survived by her Daughters Alicia (Lorenzo) Barrasso and Anna Maria (Robert) Capuano.

She is also survived by her Grandchildren Marisa (James) Gerri, Claudia (Peter) Colantonio and Lorenzo (Elvi) Barrasso Jr.

Her Great Grandchildren Anthony and Mateo Gerri, Vincenzo Colantonio and Michael Alvarez lit up her life.

She is survived by one sister Gulia. Her siblings Vincenzo, Giovanni, Amalia, Maria, Carla, and Giuseppina predeceased her. As well as many nieces and nephews

Friends may call at the Sinatra Funeral Home 601 Yonkers Avenue Monday June 19th 4pm-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday June 19th at 9:30am at St. John's Church in Yonkers, NY followed by Entombment at Ferncliff Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
