I’m so sorry to hear of Camille’s passing. My dad, John Sheehan was Howie’s partner at the Yonkers Pokice Department. Camille was always to friendly to me & my family. One of my first memories was Camille bringing us (myself & 3 brothers) a huge box of chocolates. I think she worked for a chocolate company, maybe nestles. Camille & Howie would visit my dad in the nursing home. They are all together again. My deepest sympathy for her son, daughter in law, grandchildren & extended family. Terry Sheehan Abate

Aunt Camille, To say I’m at a loss of words is an understatement. You have been such a huge part of our lives, and as of this past year such a big part of Capri’s life. From the moment she was born you took the title “great aunt” very seriously and showed up all of the time wanting to see her. Whether it was something new from Carters or the learning store, or simply just a quick stop in to sing the itsy bitsy spider song, you always showed up. If I ever needed you or anything at all you were there within a drop of a hat, esp over the last few weeks when I was sick. Frankie and I appreciated that more than you know. You planned everything according to the people around you so you could be there to help, even if that meant not going down to LBI. I will miss you calling me at the most inconvenient times (LOL) and your phone convos telling me stories about people who I had no clue who u were talking about, but still somehow found interesting. I hope you know how much you were loved and appreciated by all. A great wife, mother, mother in law, grammy, sister, sister in law, aunt, great aunt, friend, & dog mom (Oreo will always be in good hands we all love him so much). I know you are up in heaven right now catching everyone up with all that has happened over the years…. Does heaven have Advil? They might need it with all the talking that will be happening from here on out LOL. Your marinara, split pea soup, macaroni salad, & meatloaf will forever be unmatched just like your selflessness. This is an immeasurable loss for all who knew you and life will never be the same without you, but I’ll fill you in on all of the drama & gossip when we meet again one day. Until then…watch over us all and may the winds carry you home. Love, Your Goddaughter Victoria

Camille, You were not only our neighbor, you became family to us. We loved when you would stop by our house for chats, or for any of our parties. You always had stories to tell that made us smile and laugh so much & always looked out for us to make sure we were playing safely and being smart. You were still so full of life, always on the go but never missed watching dancing with the stars. Take the lead up there like you always do. Enjoy dancing with Howie again. We love and miss you Camille, we will never ever forget you and we are so thankful to have had you in our lives. Thank you for all of the memories, laughs, and smiles <3 Love Always, The Lage Family

Dearest Camille, my friend, my heart is broken forever. I cannot express how much I will miss you and your laughter. You were so full of life and always thinking of others. I will miss our visits in LBI and pray that your family and Oreo find some way to deal with your leaving us. Life will not be the same without you - I will think of you always and I know you are now with Howie. Rest with the Angels dear friend. Joe and I will love you always.

My beautiful sister ... Life will never be the same without you. You were the most unselfish, kind person I ever knew. The best big sister anyone could have. I will miss your calls 20 times a day (❤️) and I saved every voicemail/video you ever left for me. ... This was way too quick ... I thought we were going to grow old together but I think God had his plans for you. I need you more than ever during this chapter of our lives. What will I do without you? I will quote from your favorite song Joshua Kadison: "When there are lines upon our face From a lifetime of smiles When the time comes to embrace For one long last while We can laugh about How time really flies We won't say goodbye Cause true love never dies You'll always be beautiful in my eyes" Till we meet again ❤️❤️ Your loving Sister Anne

I have known you since we lived on Palisade Avenue. I remember my dad helping your mom. When we worked at Small World together we had such good times and laughs. When we took the kids outside you would sing songs and we played games with them. What great memories. You were always there ready to help anybody. We were always there for each other, like family. Sometimes you came to my house to bring me your homemade soup. There are no words that I can express on how I am feeling. I will miss you always.

Aunt Camille, you were always just a phone call away, and I will miss you showing up at the house like you always did. You were always there when any of us needed you. I’ll forever cherish our movie trips when I was younger, our nights watching American Idol, and especially our long conversations about The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars—while I endlessly tried to convince you to be a contestant on The Golden Bachelor, knowing you would have been the star of the show. Your macaroni salad and meatloaf will always be my favorite, and I’m grateful to have your recipes to keep a little piece of you with me. Life won’t be the same without you, but I will carry your love and laughter with me forever. Love your favorite niece, Alexa

I’ll never forget meeting Aunt Camille years ago—she was one of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. When I didn’t know anybody, she spoke to me like we had known each other forever, always making me feel at home. She was always laughing, always in a good mood, and her laugh was one you could never forget. I will never forget you dropping off macaroni when we first moved into our house and asking if we needed anything, always lending a helping hand. I will miss our talks outside the house and all the moments we shared. I feel lucky to have known you and will never forget you. Alexa and I were so fortunate to have had you in our lives. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Love, Frank

I will always remember how kind and thoughtful you were towards me. Always offering to help me in any way. You are truly one of the most beautiful and caring human being that I have ever known. You were more of a sister to me than a sister-in-law. I hope you make people in heaven laugh as much as you made me laugh. Make sure you let God get in a few words. Love you Susan difrancesco
