Josephine and I sadly express our condolences to Carol and family for the loss of AL. We have many fond memories through our many years of friendship. AL was always in high spirits while expressing his comedic stories which we all always enjoyed. He was a good and loving husband, father, brother who will be sorely missed. Rest in peace AL . With love Josephine and Phil Tierno

He was a great guy with a great smile. He would always speak with my dad on Bainton Street and when my dad passed away, Al was very comforting and always looked out for his neighbors. Sending heartfelt prayers. From the Zacchio's on Bainton Street.

I knew Albert all my life. We all looked up to him onThe Block. On a Block where there were lots of Shenanigans going on Albert always took the straight and narrow path. So I wasn’t surprised when all of us reconnected ,thanks to the internet, that he became a Police Officer. I know that he was a Good One. My Condolences to his Wife & Children. Teddy Colaluca

I don't think there's anything more beautiful than having people in your life who make you feel emotionally safe. Who welcome you into a judgement free zone. People who possess the maturity to calmly speak about any troubling or difficult topic that may arise, That's special. And that was Al… it was a blessing to have someone like him make me( a scared rookie cop feel welcomed and safe. Frank, big giant bear hugs to you and your family brother. – Tommy Marano.

I have so many fond memories of Al. We lived across the street from each other in the Bronx for many years. To say Al was the life of the party is an understatement. He had that infectious smile, and always found a way to make everyone laugh. One quick story that will forever remind me of Al: Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. My Mother made an amazing Aglio e Olio, and Al would always remind her to invite him over whenever she was cooking that dish, because he said it was his favorite, and hers was the best he ever had. To this day, I have always, and will always, think of big Al whenever I have Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, which also happens to be one of my favorite pasta dishes as well. Rest in Peace my friend. The Family you and Carol created are a beautiful legacy to be proud of.
