Obituary of Carol C. Thompson

Carol Thompson(Rotando) was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on April 30,1937 and died in Armonk, NY on September 30, 2024. She was 87.

 Carol lived most of her life in Bedford Ny graduating from Bedford Elementary School and Bedford Hills High School. Following high school Carol studied and was awarded her nursing degree from St Clare’s Hospital and nursing school in 1958. Carol was a practicing nurse  for nearly 60 years first at St Clare’s then Nothern Westchester Hospital.

 Carol and Raymond Thompson, also from Bedford, were married June 6,1964 until his death in 2007.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Tracey Thompson Lander and her husband David Lander of Armonk, her son, Eugene Thompson and his wife Carrie of Vero Beach, Florida. Carol is also survived by her granddaughter, Rebecca Lander and grandson Andrew Lander. Also, her brother Lynn Rotando of Fairfield CT.
