Mirza I. Marte, affectionately known as Suzy, was born on December 25, 1977, in Puerto Rico. Suzy's greatest joy in life was raising her three beloved children: Zuzette (30), Gabriel (15), and John (9). Her unwavering love and devotion to them were the cornerstones of her life.

A dedicated emergency medical technician and 911 dispatcher in Yonkers, NY, Suzy was a lifeline to many, saving countless lives with her skill, commitment, and compassion. Her colleagues and community knew her for her professional expertise and the warmth and humor she brought to every room. Described as creatively sarcastic, courageous, authoritative, and deeply compassionate, Suzy had a presence that left an incredible mark on everyone who knew her.

Her radiant personality and unshakeable strength made her a role model to many, and she will always be remembered for the love and light she gave to this world.
