William Wick aka "Bill" was born to Theodore and Marion Wick in Yonkers, New York, where he lived his entire life.
When he was Younger, he attended Emerson Elementary and Middle School, as well as Gorton High School.
While in High School he enjoyed playing golf with the golf team. He was a very smart student and was always in the National Honor Society and graduated with honors. He went on to Manhattan College, where he received his four-year degree in psychology.
While in school, he worked at the A & P on Nepperhan and Odell Ave. Later, he worked and retired from the Post Office in Scarsdale.
During his younger years he enjoyed getting together with his friends and camping, as well as going to concerts and watching sporting events, especially football. He also enjoyed watching movies and listening to music at home and had an extensive collection of both.
As he got older, he used to spend an extensive amount of time on the front porch greeting neighbors and friends when they would walk by and listening to their issues with ernest.
At one time he decided that he wanted to buy some land in Montana and flew out there with a friend to investigate some land that was for sale in Helena, which he wound up purchasing. He kept the land for many years, however he eventually sold it.. Even though he owned the land for some time, he never returned to see it after he purchased it.
In 2001, Bill, along with his parents, experienced a major house fire, which was considered a total loss and wound up living in an apartment for about a year, while the house at 7 Speedling Place was rebuilt. The neighbors helped a lot with the rebuilding of the house.
Bill never married but had one sibling, his sister Marilyn and two nephews Jesse and Travis.
May Bill rest in peace.
