Doris Alice DiMaio, 79, passed away on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 peacefully in the comfort of her home in Yonkers, NY.

Doris was born on September 26, 1945 in Yonkers, NY to her loving parents Darius and Alice Benjamin. A dedicated and respected member of the Yonkers community, Doris found great enjoyment and fulfillment in her career within the Yonkers court system. She took immense pride in her work with a deep commitment to justice. Her contributions were valued by her colleagues, who became cherished friends of hers. She considered her time serving in the court system a true privilege. After her work at the court, Doris generously dedicated her time to volunteering at St. John's Riverside Hospital.

Doris is survived by her son Ralph DiMaio and his wife Paula DiMaio, her granddaughter Dana Buerle and her husband Sebastian Buerle, her nephew Peter Perone and his wife Rosemary Perone, and her nieces Linda, Jo Elizabeth, and Ramona.
