It's with a broken heart that we announce that Modesto Ruiz from 455 N Broadway, unit 43 Yonkers, NY 10701 passed away on Saturday February 22, 2025 after a 45 month battle with stage 4 lung cancer.

Modesto was born on March 29,1971 to Alfonzo and Maria in the Bronx

He was the baby of 12.

Modesto meet his wife Karisa in 1986 at 215 Bush St in the Bronx they married legally on March 29, 2014.

Modesto leaves behind his soulmate Karisa ,3 Children Katherine, Christopher and Kayla who were his world.

Modesto was a awesome husband and father he loved us and our families with a heart over flowing with love kindness peace and joy. He will be surely missed. Modesto loved watching old western shows and wrestling and car shows. He loved going fishing and putting model planes and cars together. He loved cooking but his favorite was barbecuing.

He loved the Lord with all his heart and tried his best to live a life pleasing to him Modesto left us to soon but he is no longer in pain and he's in a better place. This isn't good bye it's just until we meet again.

He was loving and he left foot prints in all the lives that he touched he made everyone feel like family and he showed them love and he always made us laugh with his jokes and funny dancing.

Above all Modesto was a family man he is survived by his wife Karisa and his 3 Children Katherine, Christopher,and Kayla who will miss him dearly but he will live on in their hearts thoughts and memories fly high Moe we love you
