O’Connell, Patricia A. age 68, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY passed away peacefully on February 28,2025.  She is predeceased by her husband, Gary O’Connell and parents, Virginia & Edward Campion.  She is survived by her daughters, Kerri (Mark) Waters, Shannon O’Connell and granddaughter, Avery Rose Waters.  Patty is a graduate of Yonkers High and is also survived by her siblings Deborah (Paul) Caputo and Michael (Debbie) Campion as well as many nieces and nephews.  She held various roles over 30 yrs at Toys R us In Yonkers, NY before retiring in 2017. During her time at TRU she formed ever lasting friendships, fostered community partnerships, and put smiles on the faces of many children, ensuring Santa would have their toys in time for the big haul.

Patty loved to read and had a passion for arts and crafts. She also served as a cheerleading coach and BINGO coordinator at the MCSA school when her girls attended.

While Patricia’s physical presence will forever be missed, please take comfort in knowing that she is eternally reunited with the love of her life, Gary. May they rest easy together and help guide us here until we meet again.
