Obituary of Camille Horton

Camille Anne Horton passed away suddenly at Jacobi Medical Center on Saturday, March 8th, 2025.

Born in Yonkers, N.Y. on January 4th, 1951. Camille was the daughter of the late Camillo "Thomas" and Anna (Bisaccia)  DiFrancesco. She is pre-deceased by her husband and high school sweetheart, Howard Horton. Camille proudly served as a pre-school teacher for over 30 years. Since retiring, Camille split her time between Yonkers and the Jersey Shore while always putting her love for her family, especially her grandchildren first.

Camille enjoyed talking with family and friends, cooking Italian meals, watching TV shows, spending time with her Grandchildren, walking her dog Oreo, and travelling to her beach house on the Jersey Shore. She enjoyed her independence during her senior years and was very proud of her Italian heritage. She excelled at being quirky, outgoing, and honest

Camille is survived by her son, Matthew (Denise), grandchildren Aidan and Penelope; sister, Anne(Richard) Persico, brother, Joseph(Susan) DiFrancesco, nieces and nephews Victoria (Frankie) , Alexa (Frank), Richie, Joseph (Christa) and Ciara; and Great Niece and Nephew Capri Camilla, Levi and Aiden.

She will be deeply missed.
