In 1969, she immigrated to New York from Italy with her husband and three children for a new beginning, where she worked as a seamstress and took care of her family. She was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria D'Angelo and beloved wife of the late Pietro Carozza of over 67 years. She is predeceased by her brother, Alfonso D'Angelo (Maria) and sister, Giovina Campana (Nicola). Anna was a loving mother to Gerardo Carozza (Mary), Joe Carozza (Michelle), and Nina Garcia (Greg). She was also the cherished Nonna of Joey, Stephanie (Michael), Adriana, Melissa, Christopher, Valerie, and Danielle and great-grandmother of Remy. She leaves behind an extended family of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Anna enjoyed cooking and baking, whether it was Sunday pasta or her classic tiramisu, she poured love into every dish she made. She also treasured the precious moments spent surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Anna's kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will forever be cherished in our hearts.
