Gilberto Arce was 62 years old born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on September 13, 1963. He grew up in Yonkers, NY. He had a rough childhood that led to a rough adulthood. He was the 7th of 11 siblings. His mother passed away two days after his 14th birthday.

He was a hard working man. Although he had a tough life he worked until he had to retire early due to cancer. Gilberto was a selfless man with a great heart. Although he was sick he spent the last 2-3 years taking care of his 2 younger brothers. His passion in life was his love for Jesus. He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior after a near death experience, when he called on God for His divine intervention. He was far from being perfect to the eyes of many, but perfect in God's eyes. Praise be to God.

He left this world to be with The Lord on April 20, 2025 Sunday Resurrection day.

He is survived by 3 sisters Margarita, Ana and Nereida also 3 brothers Jose, Juan and Edwin. He also had 2 older brothers Prisciliano and Gabriel who are with The Lord. He also has a daughter and 2 grandsons. He has many nieces, nephews, cousins and his last living aunt Ney who love him dearly. Sisters in law Mary and Aracelis and brother in law Luis. He will be greatly missed.
