RoseAnn T. DiGiovanni

April 6, 1940 — May 1, 2025

RoseAnn Theresa DiGiovanni, 85, lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY, passed away peacefully at home, after a short illness on May 1, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1940 in Yonkers, NY, to Dominick and Grayce (Gasparre) DiGiovanni.

RoseAnn was a graduate of Commerce High School in 1958 and then she graduated with an Associates' degree from Elizabeth Seton College in the early 1980's. She was employed by General Foods Corporation, the job she retired from and loved the most. After a sabbatical of two years, she started a new career working for the practice of Dr. Lester Klein, Dr. Judy Anderson and Dr. Phoebe Rabbin. She moved on to work with Dr. Judy Siegel. Even though this was a change of career path for her, she thoroughly enjoyed working with these doctors. She was then offered a position at Westchester School for Special Children and after 5 years at the age of 69, she officially retired.

RoseAnn was very active in Senior Group 5 on Waverly Street and when they closed, she was a member of Coyne Park Senior Group and eventually became an active member of Nodine Senior Group 12. RoseAnn also enjoyed putting together senior trips to the casinos and was an avid bingo player.

As a devout Catholic, along with lighting candles for anyone who needed prayer, she found great joy in being a member of her church's Rosary Altar Society and always volunteered to help with parish functions.

RoseAnn was predeceased by her parents, brother, Ralph Sr., and her nephew, Matthew. She is survived by her loving and devoted siblings, Duke (Gayle) and Grayce and her sister-in law, Beth. She is also survived by her nieces, Christine and Megan, nephew, Ralph Jr., and her great-nieces, Gabriella Grace and Giovanna Rose, who she loved and adored as her own.

RoseAnn had an incredible gift of making others feel special and gave selflessly with joy. Everyone who knew her felt seen, loved and celebrated. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends and all who were lucky enough to know her.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 2pm to 7pm at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 5th @ 10am at Christ the King Church, 740 North Broadway, Yonkers, NY. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 209 Truman Avenue, Yonkers, NY.
