Obituary of Ronald F. Mosca
Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ronald Mosca, 87, went home to God on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Ronnie passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a brief illness.
Ronnie was born in the Bronx, on March 23, 1938, to Anita (Cucchiarelli) and Ciro (Jerry) Mosca. He was educated in Bronx public schools including P.S. 36 and James Monroe High School (class of ’56). On August 6, 1960, he married Rosalie Docos. She passed away unexpectedly in 1997. They had two children, Anthony and Theresa.
Ronnie was a machinist by trade and worked for many years at Otis Elevator in Yonkers. He retired from Otis in 1983. He was a very skilled furniture maker, and his family owned and operated Klassic Kitchens on Central Avenue in Yonkers. Ronnie was blessed with another career as a tool expert at Sears Roebuck. An avid hobbyist, he also loved making things out of solid materials like Corian and would frequently give those items to family and friends. He loved music and singing and was known for belting out a song or two, anytime, anywhere. Ronnie enjoyed cooking and baking, and his ricotta cheesecakes were loved by all. He was a masterful joke-teller and had a knack for remembering and delivering jokes on the spur of the moment. And we loved them all.
Ronnie is survived by his son Anthony, his daughter Theresa (Robert Cacciatore) and his sister Frances Hernandez (Manuel). He is also survived by his grandchildren Elise Cacciatore (Jared) and Michael Cacciatore (Brielle) and their son, Dominic James, as well as nieces and nephews, Craig, Anita, Sabrina, JohnCarlo, Amanda and Michael. In the later years of his life, Ronnie was blessed with the love and friendship of Sherri Levine. His broad smile and warm heart will be with us, always.
