Born February 19, 1935 to Lucy and Sal Mancuso in Yonkers. He spent his younger life on Maple Street. He attended public school and went to Yonkers High School where he excelled as a running back on their football team. After graduation, he attended Miami University for 2 years and then returned home with a degree in business. Missing his family, his two sisters, Edith and Jo-Anne and his sweetheart, Elizabeth Rubeo, he returned for a time. He then decided to go into the Navy for 2 years during the Korean War and served on an AirCraft carrier, the Lake Champlain as a payroll officer. He then returned home and started working with his Father and Uncle Tony Santamorena and his Son, Bobby. Years later, he became a correction officer at Westchester County Department of Correction in Valhalla, New York and started his own security business. After retirement, he went into Real Estate with his two sons, Sal and Charles. He then went into Horse Racing at Yonkers Racetrack where all his family and friends were involved. My Father was ALWAYS A FAMILY MAN FIRST, married to our Mom for 67 years, 4 children, Charles, Sal(Michele), Elizabeth, Dianne and his grandchildren, Victoria, Petey, Elizabeth, Annie, Joseph and Christopher.
