Natale M. Greco, cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed into eternal rest on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the age of 86.
Natale was born in Carolei, Cosenza, Italy to Luigi and Rosa Greco on December 24, 1938. He leaves behind his beloved wife Beverly, his children Louis and Natalie and his grandchildren Marco and Matteo.
Natale has been a proud Yonkers resident and business owner for almost sixty years. He co-owned Men's World Barbershop in Yonkers and is known as Nat the Barber to many. He also worked at Yonkers Raceway for over forty years. He took pride in his garden. He spent countless hours tirelessly looking after his vegetable garden, flowers, lawn and his fig trees.
Natale's warm and welcoming personality left its mark on everyone who met him. His contagious smile and generous heart do not adequately describe the tremendous person he was. He always lent a listening ear and open arms to everyone. He had a way of always knowing the right thing to say and do.
Natale had a way of making everyone feel special and welcomed. He turned everything into a valued life lesson and never let anything get him down.
Even with his cancer diagnosis, he stayed upbeat and positive. Through surgeries and treatments, he never stopped being the rock of his family. He kept that wonderful smile going and an upbeat outlook. The nurses and doctors were captivated by his charm and strength. Those who knew Natale knew the charm he had. A warm smile, gentle laugh and for those that found an extra special place in his heart, knew "the wink". That special wink he gave, that let you know how appreciated you were.
Natale will be missed and most certainly cherished for generations to come.
