Sandra Isabel Lanza, 69 of Yonkers, New York passed away on Tuesday September 16th, 2025, at Mt. Sinai Hospital NYC with her family by her side as she rose to join the lord.

She was born on September 6th, 1956, in Puerto de Tela, Honduras to Israel Lanza and Evangelina Lanza. On October 3rd, 1968, she migrated to Yonkers, New York where she lived all her life.

She worked for St. Joseph's Hospital on South Broadway in Yonkers, NY for most of her working years. At the age of 64 she retired from her housekeeping position.

She was a loving sister, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother and is survived by her siblings, Olivia Reyes, Gladys Lanza, Alba Lanza, Luis Lanza. 3 children, Damian Carrera, Soraya Almonte, Norman Alvarez. Mother-in-law to Marilyn Carrera and Shawn Almonte, 7 grandchildren, Jonathan Carrera, Damian Carrera Jr. "DJ", Dailyn Carrera, Delanya Carrera, Destiny Almonte, Tyler Almonte, Christian Almonte. 3 great grandchildren, Lyon Carrera, Charlie Brinkman, Harrison Brinkman.

Sandra will be remembered for her unconditional love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. Sandra presence lit up a room with her contiguous smile, her beautiful looks, and stylish confidence. Her sincere love for her sisters and only brother along with her nieces and nephews. Also, her cherished best friend Ana Robinson who she loved dearly and respected including Susan Clayton who she loved as her daughter. Finally, her devoted care to her dogs, Cici and Muñeca who gave her great joy.
