Maria Gabriella (Gentile) Sabetti beloved mother to two children, Lori and Stefano and daughter-in-law Tara, 76 years old of New Rochelle, New York passed away at Calvary Hospital from a long battle with Breast Cancer on September 20, 2025 leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Maria Gabriella was born in Tagliacozzo, Italy 1949, to Giuseppe and Margherita Gentile. She worked at Manhattanville College for many years.

Maria was a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. Her unconditional love, commitment and devotion to her children will leave a lasting impact. Maria had a beautiful 11-year-old grandchild by the name of Gianna Sabetti. Gianna was her heart, star and world. She cared and loved all of her nieces, nephews and family.

Maria is survived by her brothers Alfio, Fabio and Renzo Gentile, they will never forget the love she brought to their lives as their big and little sister.

Maria was a warrior, loving and strong woman, who has left a legacy for many reasons but to mention a few she always said -"never give up", "always stay strong" and "believe and trust in God.”

You may be gone from our sight, but you are never gone from our hearts. May you find eternal peace in the arms of angels. Goodbye's are not forever, and not the end. It simply means you will be missed until we meet again.
