Gregorio Barbieri, of Yonkers, New York, passed away suddenly at the age of 69, surrounded by his loved ones on October 10th, 2025 6:19a.m

Born in Cardinale, Provincia Di Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy on July 1, 1956 to Rosario and Carolina Barbieri, Gregorio immigrated to Yonkers, New York on October 25, 1970.

Gregorio was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother and friend. His favorite pastime was spending time at the Italian club. He loved spending time with his dog Daisy, watching sports, The History Channel, movies and car shows. He enjoyed hunting with his brother and friends and home improvement projects. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved telling fun stories of his younger days and listening to Italian music. His favorite team was the NY Mets. Gregorio loved being outdoors, camping, going to amusement parks and the beach. He established many pizzerias throughout NY and PA and was labeled best pizza maker in town, not to mention he had an amazing sauce. He was a humble man who preferred the simple life and made friends easily. Gregorio loved his family unconditionally and loved to make strangers feel like family. If you couldn’t find him just find out where the cookie jar was. We are forever grateful that he left us with so many beautiful memories of him.

Gregorio is survived by his 8 children: Carolina (Armando), Graziella (Rich) Gregori, Christina (Matt) Olivia, Giovanni, Massimo and Lucia; his 11 grandchildren Charles, Dante, Adam (Jada), Ariella (Sofia), Aidan, Isabella, McKayla, Savannah, Angelina, Serena and Gabriel ; 1 great grandchild Psalm and his dog Daisy Also survived by 4 Siblings: Elisabetta (Franco), Frank (Rosetta), Maria (pre-deceased-Richard) and Graziella (Giuseppe); his nieces and nephews : Nicolina, Francesco (Tina), Joseph (Nicole), Stephanie (Saverio), Anntonia, Antonella (Ralph), Giuseppe Jr; great nieces and nephews; Valentina, Bianca, Luca, Vincent and Paolo along with many aunts, uncles and cousins all over New York and Canada who he loved dearly. Gregorio is pre-deceased by his parents, Rosario and Carolina Barbieri

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday October 16, 2025 from 3-7PM at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc. at 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, New York 10704.

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in his honor on Friday 10/17/25 at 10 AM St. Bartholomew's Church

15 Palmer Rd, Yonkers, NY 10701 Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery at 280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530.
