Kim Marie Duro Obituary

After a heroic battle fighting for the gift of more time in the loving embrace of her family and friends, Kim passed away in the early morning of October 15th surrounded by her two sons and husband. She is remembered by them first and foremost as the most graceful embodiment of the power of love to raise up those around her. Her willingness to sacrifice for those closest to her heart, fierce tenacity to overcome obstacles, strength of spirit to provide comfort despite difficulty, sense of humor, and the audacity to believe in others encouraged all those around her to strive to be better.

She will be remembered most by her warm and ever-present ability to nourish a feeling of peace in others through her kind eyes, uplifting words, and heartfelt action. All who were lucky enough to have Kim's presence in their lives will assuredly never cease to mourn that they will not see her kind and glowing smile again in this world, however, we will seek to find solace and inspiration in the knowledge that she will live on in our hearts forever. Through our actions and efforts, we will dedicate ourselves to spreading joy in this world, in the example she has set for us.

Those who love her look forward with joyful anticipation to be reunited with her and our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven.
