In Loving Memory of Jerome Dorkin
1971 – 2025
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Jerome Dorkin, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the age of 54 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Hamilton, Canada, and raised in Brooklyn, NY and Preko, Croatia, Jerome grew up with a strong sense of family, faith, and community that guided him throughout his life. After marrying the love of his life, Denise(Grindley) he settled in Westchester County, NY, where they built a beautiful life together and raised their two cherished children, Dylan and Kaitlyn, who were his greatest joy.

He was known for his kindness, warmth, and steady presence — someone who made everyone feel valued and at home.
Jerome was employed with Align Communications for over 30 years where coworkers and colleagues became family. A place where he mentored many and took many under his direction.
He is survived by his devoted wife Denise [Grindley]loving children Dylan and Kaitlyn, parents Vlatko and Julija, siblings Evelin(Tonko) and Ljubica (Tomo). Nieces Karmen, Lisa, Enola, and Gianna, his Goddaughter and niece. Along with nephews Nando, Noa and Nick, he also leaves behind one cherished great-niece, Ramona.
