Carmine Provenzano, 79, of Yonkers, New York, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in the Bronx on July 26, 1946, Carmine dedicated his life to hard work, laughter, and family. He proudly served with the New York City Police Department for 20 years. After retiring from the NYPD, he continued his career at Liberty Lines Transit, where he worked as a bus driver and then as a supervisor until his retirement.
He loved his family more than anything and found joy in the simplest moments—sharing meals, telling stories, or cheering on his grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Patricia; his loving sons, Matthew and Anthony; his daughters-in-law, Marcela and Alanna; and his adored grandchildren, Adriana, Marcello, and Annalise.
Carmine will be remembered for his loyalty, and his unwavering love for his family. His spirit, stories and kindness will live on in all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 24, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home, 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday , October 25 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 409 E 241st Street, Bronx, NY, followed by burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
