Gary Raymond Preiss passed away on July 31, 2025, in Ocala, Florida, with his family at his side. He was born on November 14, 1972, in Yonkers, New York.

Gary is lovingly remembered by his partner, Rosemarie Ballestero; his mother, Phyllis J. Mullin; his sister, Christine M. Calvello and her husband Fred; his brother, Edward M. Preiss; and his stepson, Eric Ballestero. He is also remembered by his uncles, John H. Preiss and Robert F. Preiss; nephews, Christopher and Jacob Calvello; and niece, Amber Calvello.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward A. Preiss.

Gary dedicated many years to working as an Auto Parts Store Manager in Westchester County, where he developed a deep knowledge of the automotive world. His enthusiasm for muscle cars was a defining passion that brought him great joy throughout his life.

A devoted fur dad, Gary cherished the companionship of his beloved pets: Sophie, Dinkie, Sheba, Fluff, Chris, and Moon.
