Renato Vincini passed away peacefully on November 13th in New Rochelle, NY. at the age of 90.

Renato was born on October 11, 1935 in Vezzolacca di Vernasca, Italy, to Gaspare Vincini and Maria Solari. He had several siblings, Yolanda Soccio, Luigi Vincini, Gianni Vincini, Piera Gianni, and Bruno Vincini.

He grew up working on the family farm where they raised animals and cultivated various crops. After being injured on the farm he went to trade school in Milano and became a tailor.

He came to New York City on the ship, Conte Grande on October 6, 1956 with his family, and worked as a tailor in a factory. They later moved to Astoria. He met Maria Croci in 1960 and they married on May 12, 1962. They moved to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx before living in Parkchester where they had 2 children, Robert and Lisa. Renato and Maria bought their house in 1971 where he set his roots with his family. During his leisure time, he made suits for his family, grew a garden of tomatoes and vegetables that were the envy of all his neighbors. He made wine, grappa, sausage and sauce with his family, which grew into a tradition throughout all the years.

He has four grandchildren from Robert and Denise, Bobby (Erin), Matthew (Ally), Danielle, and Billy and three from Lisa and Steve, Daniel, James, and Lilliana.

They were his absolute pride and joy. He spent many years taking them to the park, cooking for them, tracking down Mr. Softee and spoiling them.

They purchased a condo in Florida by the beach, where he loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren sitting in the sun, walking, fishing and swimming in the Gulf.

He and Maria traveled to his beloved town of Vezzolacca often to spend time with his family and sing with the locals.

He spent his last few years with Maria in New Rochelle. He was so proud of all that he had created with Maria, and his family was his world. He will be deeply missed by all.
