Carol Tornatore (nee Buonafede) passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 surround by her family and loved ones. Predeceased by her husband, Anthony, she is survived by her two sons, Anthony Sr. & Alisa, and Frank Sr. & Michelle, and six grandchildren, Salvatore, Anthony, Anthony Jr., Frankie Jr., Daniela, and Lorenzo. She is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Born on September 24, 1945 to Salvatore & Assunta Buonafede in Yonkers, New York. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. On October 2, 1965, she married Anthony Tornatore and raised their family in Yonkers.

Carol was a woman whose love for her family knew no bounds. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in being a constant presence in their lives, always ready with a smile, a laugh, and a warm embrace. She will be remembered for the way she made every family gathering feel complete, never missing a birthday, holiday, or celebration—even if it meant arriving fashionably late. For Carol, family was everything, and she showed it in every way possible, whether through small acts of kindness or the joy she brought to every shared moment.

Her infectious laughter, thoughtful gestures, and unwavering support will leave a lasting impact on all who knew her. Carol's ability to make everyone feel valued and cared for is a testament to her deep and selfless love. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
