Franny Girl

Our sweet Francine passed away on January 14th, 2026 surrounded by family and friends that loved her dearly.

Francine Bufano was born in Yonkers on September 30, 1968, and she moved through life with a happiness and joy that were felt by all who knew her.

She touched countless lives simply by being herself. Her smile, infectious laugh, and gentle innocence brought out the very best in everyone she met. We are profoundly grateful to have shared in Francine’s life. She will be deeply missed and remembered by her closest friends and family. 

As the years pass and we all grow older, Francine had a beautiful way of keeping us all young. Through her innocence and joy, she reminded us of the simple wonder of childhood — the kind of joy we too often forget.

From the day she was born, Francine brought our family closer together. She is survived by Katrina and Matthew, Michael and Kathy, Stephen and Tina, and her neices and nephews who loved her deeply and shared a lifetime of cherished memories with her. May Francine now rest peacefully with her mother, Joan, her father, Michael, and her sister, Teresa.
