Viola Santelia passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Born in Salerno, Italy, Viola made her homefor many years in the Bronx and Yonkers, New York. She was a beloved wife, sister, sister in law, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. As a devoted Catholic, born with a generous spirit and a tireless work ethic, Viola lived her faith by dedicating herself to the care and support of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication. Viola with her late husband Frank, built a growing family and was a devoted mother to her two sons: Anthony Santelia (husband of Madeline) and Vincent Santelia (husband of Rita). She was a cherished grandmother to Viola and her husband Konnor, Margherita and her husband David, Elisa, Isabella, Frankie, Michaela, Vincent, and Violet. Viola was a loving great-grandmother to Peyton,Hailey, and Audrey. She nurtured those around her with unwavering love and guidance, creating a circle of family and friends who treasured her. Viola touched the lives of everyone she met. She devoted her talents and energy to family-run businesses, working in the beauty parlor, the fish market, and supermarket, bringing care to every role she embraced. Her compassion, and steadfast love will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. Viola Santelia will be deeply missed but forever honored in the hearts of her loved ones.
