Gennaro "Jerry" Esposito, 76, passed away peacefully at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, NY on January 30, 2026. Born on October 5,1949 in the Bronx and a lifelong resident of that Borough, Jerry was the beloved son of the late Gennaro Esposito and Antoinette (Pietrangolare) Esposito. He was raised with his siblings, his twin brother, the late Frank Esposito, his older sister, Marie Esposito and younger sister Rose (Esposito) O'Connor.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife and childhood sweetheart, Kathleen Clements, Jerry is survived by his loving children Melissa and Jerry "Jerry Boy" Esposito as well as his grandchildren Michael and Marina Illames and great grandchild, Jaxson. All of whom he loved greatly. He was very fortunate to live nearby and spend quality, loving time with all of them.

Known affectionately as "Jerry the twin" he spent a large portion of his life with his late brother Frankie. They grew up together on Villa Avenue in the Bronx and spent their latter years at the "club" with many close friends playing pinochle, poker and Continental, watching the Yankees and maybe making an occasional football bet.

Jerry loved the "old" neighborhood,  Avenue, his many cousins, friends, in-laws, Jimmy (Alice) and Susan, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by all of them.

A caring and loving man, Jerry now joins his loving wife, Kathy, his close twin brother Frank, niece Dawne and his loving parents Jerry & Letta in Heaven. Jerry's memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who knew and loved him.
