Janet Paravati, My Sister
Janet was born Janet Ann DePasquale on August 27, 1949. She was raised on Villa Avenue, The Bronx, NY until she moved with her husband Robert Paravati to 60 Belmont Avenue, Yonkers, NY in 1993. She attended St. Philip Neri Grade School and Walton HS, both in the Bronx NY. Janet was a real true Villa Avenue girl; she had old world beliefs and did not like changes of any kind. She led a very quiet simple life, she had friends for many, many years and she kept in touch with them on a regular basis.
Janet had very old traditional values, especially family, she would constantly try to keep in contact with as many family members as possible. She had one nephew, Matthew DePasquale, my son who she loved unconditionally, she would call him every night to check on his day and just to hear his voice.
We laughed and cried together, we disagreed on many topics, but we always loved each other. I will miss our conversations and reminiscing about the old neighborhood, I will miss seeing you, I will see you again but not now.
Say Hi to everyone up there for me!
We all love you I love you, you will be missed very much
Rest in Peace, God Bless you
