Mekhail S. Al-Rabadi Obituary

Mekhail Salem Suleiman Al-Rabadi (Abu Yousef) was born on January 1, 1936, in Ajloun, Jordan. In 1985, he immigrated to Yonkers, New York, where he built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and unwavering devotion to those he loved most.

Mekhail proudly served in the Jordanian military for approximately fifteen years, carrying himself with the discipline, strength, and honor that defined his character throughout his life. After coming to the United States, he worked at Stewart Stamping, where his dedication and strong work ethic helped provide a foundation for his family's future.

Mekhail was a man of deep Catholic faith. His devotion to God guided his daily life. He attended church every Sunday faithfully, and even through illness, he continued to pray until he no longer had the strength to speak. His unwavering faith was a powerful example to his family and everyone who knew him.

Beyond his faith and service, Mekhail was the heart of every gathering. He was the life of the party and the center of the dance floor, bringing laughter, music, and joy wherever he went. He found peace in tending to his garden and immeasurable happiness in being surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mekhail's life was one of faith, service, strength and love. His memory will live on in the stories shared at family tables, in the traditions he passed down, and in the deep roots he planted within his family.

Mekhail passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on February 19, 2026. He is survived by his beloved wife, Suad Al-Rabadi, his lifelong partner in faith and love. He leaves behind his devoted children: Yousef and his wife, Lillian, Nabih and his wife, Reema, Ashraf and his wife, Jumanah, Firas and his wife, Maysoon, Salem and his wife, Lucy, and his daughter, Eftekhar and her husband, Raged.

His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren: Jenna, Dina, Monica, Yousef, Sarah, Samer, Maher, Malak, Michael, Christina, George, Matthew, and Zayn, and his treasured great-grandchildren, Julia and Alia, who were a special joy in his later years.

May God grant him eternal rest and may his memory be eternal.
