Ruben Marshall Warren (Doonie) of Yonkers, NY was born on July 1, 1963. Sadly, Ruben departed life on February 22, 2026. He attended Yonkers Public Schools. Ruben was a self-employed carpenter who loved music and spending quality time with his family. Ruben was very well known as "The King of Chess."

Ruben was predeceased by his parents, Maudean Grace and Ruben Hammonds; 4 sisters, Gail Dailey, Marsha Ann Hammonds, Deserene Warren and Sandra Bartley and 1 brother in law, Leonard Bartley.

He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister Geneva "Pumpkin" Warren, one brother Shaheed Hammonds, two nephews Leonard "Boo" Bartley and Jerome Bartley "His Warriors". Eight nieces "His Golden Girls" Kiwanna Warren, Bykiia Ceasar, Latisha Bartley, Nesha Dailey, Jere Dailey, Brianna Bartley, Je'da Warren and Ashanti Edwards.
