Irene M. Linares Obituary

Irene M. Linares of Mount Kisco passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026. She was born on May 31, 1947, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan to the late Florence and Harold Gottschalk, and was the beloved sister of the late Carolyn Servinskas.


Irene is survived by her loving children, Kim Arco and her husband George Arco, and Tony Linares and his wife Maribeth Linares. She was a devoted grandmother to Kyler, Peyton, Kiera, and Cameron, whom she loved unconditionally. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Karen Ungania (Dario), Matthew Servinskas, and Scott Servinskas.


In addition to her family, Irene leaves behind many dear friends, including her lifelong friend Virginia "Ginny" Linares. Their friendship, which began in the fifth grade, endured a lifetime and was filled with cherished memories and travels around the world together.


Irene worked as an administrative professional for most of her career and took great pride in the relationships she built throughout her life. Above all, she treasured her family and friends.


A devoted member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Irene was especially proud of her involvement with the Altar Guild. Her faith remained a guiding and important part of her life.


She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, loyalty, and the deep love she shared with those around her.
