Michael E. Marsigliano Obituary
Michael (Mike) E. Marsigliano, 72, of Yonkers, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Bronx, NY, to Emanuel and Antoinette (Esposito) Marsigliano on September 8, 1953, Mike lived a life centered on family, loyalty, and the simple joys that brought him—and everyone around him—great happiness. He attended St. Raymond's High School in the Bronx and, in the following years, supported a growing family by working in retail while attending Iona College to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Technology.
Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Ann, and their children: Michael (Lisa Joyce), Janine, Denise (Dean Riolo), and Dana (Darren Perillo). He was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren—Lindsey, Kaelynn, Aubree, Michael, John, Brayden, Emmalyn, Austin, and Jake—each of whom he adored and supported with unwavering enthusiasm. He is also survived by his brothers Raymond and William (Anita); his sisters Donna and Alice Ann (Joey Bauer); his sister-in-law Leslie Reilly; his nieces Danielle, Laura, and Janet; and his nephews Thomas, Vincent, Peter, and Andrew.
Mike found joy in cooking, Sci-Fi, Star Trek, and a love for Apple computers. Nothing made him happier than helping his children and watching his grandchildren play sports, perform in dance recitals, or glide across the ice in skating shows. He loved spending summer days with them poolside, teaching them how to swim, dive, and laugh their way through childhood. Mike also had a special appreciation for a good sale at ShopRite, never missing the chance to share a bargain or stock up on family favorites. In his retirement, when he wasn't busy helping his children and grandchildren, he kept himself active working at Stew Leonard's Wine & Spirits.
Mike will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the deep love he carried for his family. His presence will be profoundly missed, but the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, April 16th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sinatra Funeral Home, located at 499 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY. A Christian Mass will be held on Friday, April 17th, at St. Anthony's Church, located at 10 Squire Avenue, Yonkers, NY, followed by burial services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Blood Cancer United (formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), a charity the family has long supported.
