She came to the United States to pursue a career in health care and worked as a Laboratory Technician at Yonkers General Hospital, Yonkers Professional, Dobbs Ferry Hospital, and later at Sound Shore Medical Center, where she remained until retirement.
Rose spent her later years in Fort Myers, Florida, enjoying gardening and time at the shooting range with her husband, Francis Sandoval. A former member of the Yonkers Millennium Lions Club, she devoted many hours to serving her community.
She is survived by her son, Angelo Roxas, daughter‑in‑law Jennifer, and grandchildren Tristin, Kaya, Lea, and Jake. She also lovingly embraced Francis’ children, Sheena and John.
