"Elsa Maribel Soto, of Asunción Mita, Guatemala, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. A strong and hardworking mother, Elsa expressed her affection in the most genuine way she knew through her cooking. If her grandchildren craved something, she made it without hesitation. Every dish was her way of saying “I love you” without needing the words.  

Though she could be serious, her laughter came easily and brought warmth to every room. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and the quiet, comforting love she shared through every meal and every moment. She will be profoundly missed."
